Jen Kennedy
Jen began her career in the Criminal Justice System as a Probation Officer. She consulted for several Cleveland based law firms as a Paralegal before joining Ohio Alcohol Monitoring Systems in 2009 as a Program Director. Her vision to make a difference in the Criminal Justice/Substance Abuse System and commitment is evident through collaboration and partnership.
Michael DeHaan, LISW-S
Michael has 30+ years experience working in the Criminal Justice/Substance Abuse/Mental Health Systems. In June 2002 he retired as Deputy Chief U.S. Probation-Pretrial Services for the Western District of Michigan. Since January 2003, he has been managing forensic and Substance Abuse programs at a Cleveland based substance abuse / mental health non-profit agency.
Lindsey McMillion, MSW, LSW
Lindsey holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology from The Ohio State University and a Masters in Social Work degree with a specialization in Chemical Dependency Counseling from Cleveland State University. Lindsey is a Licensed Social Worker through the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board.
Lindsey has worked in mental health and addiction services holding positions such as Municipal/Drug Court Liaison, Counselor, and currently is the Coordinator of two Re-Entry programs in Cuyahoga County, serving clients whom suffer from severe mental illnesses and co-occurring substance use disorders. Lindsey has worked with AHCC since January 2011 as an assessor and Driver Intervention Program Counselor.
Bill Muckinhaupt, LSW
Bill holds a Bachlor’s Degree in Social Work from Gannon University. He has worked in the court system for 32 years as a correctional officer, counselor, probation officer, and various management positions. After all his time working in the field, Bill continues to see how substance abuse and mental health programming can and does change lives. In his spare time Bill enjoys participating in martial arts and spending time with his family.
Emily Honsa
Emily’s experience includes clerking at both the federal and municipal level. She has worked with multiple law enforcement agencies. She joined Alternative Horizon Counseling Center in March 2010 to help facilitate with the Driver Intervention Program. She has a J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. Emily has strong civic involvement, and is committed to the development of effective, just, and rehabilitative criminal law.
Amanda Lancki
Amanda started with Alternative Horizon Counseling Center in the spring of 2010 as a intern. Amanda is a junior at Slippery Rock University.
Lenice Little
Lenice has worked for the Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections for approximately 18 years. The last ten years as a Probation Officer, Lenice has co-facilitated group sessions for the Lucas County Adult Probation Department. Lenice co-facilitates the Driver Intervention Program in Perrysburg, Ohio. She feels everyone involved in DIP can take something of value from the information provided during the program.
Amanda Wilson
Amanda holds a Bachelor’s degree in Counseling and Rehabilitation from Marshall University. She has worked for Lucas Co. Common Pleas Court for the last sixteen years. As a Case Manager, Chemical Dependency Counselor and now an Adult Probation Officer, with a focus solely on the substance abuse population. Amanda has developed her skills facilitating groups, through one on one client contact and various trainings related to substance use, abuse and it’s direct affiliation with the judicial system. She joined AHCC in 2012 and looks forward to meeting, educating and learning from new people and their life experiences.
Wendy Pittman
Wendy Pittman has been with Alternative Horizon Counseling Center since October, 2011. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Toledo in the Interdisciplinary Studies of Criminal Justice, Psychology,and Sociology. She has worked in the Criminal Justice field for the last 22 years; initially, as a Pretrial Officer, and currently, as a Lucas County Adult Probation Officer.
